According to the British Newspaper The Sun, actor Shane Richie is going to play Captain Scarlet in a Cinema Feature Film which will mix live action with CGI. This was mentioned in Saturday 20th August's issue on the Show Business page. I cannot find anything else concerning the project. Fanderson have not said anything. If this turns out to be correct I think Shane would make a great Captain Scarlet. He is soon to leave his current show "Eastenders" where he plays the lovable rogue Alfie Moon. I believe he is a massive Gerry Anderson Fan and is just about the right age to play Captain Scarlet. Has anyone else heard anything about this rumoured project? Apologies in advance if this turns out to be a load of old toot. |

I thought that Hugh Jackman would be Captain Scarlet or Pierce Brosnan if there was a Captain Scarlet movie in the 80s __________________ Thunderbirds are go!!!!!!!! |

Well the best thing to do is not believe anything that is written in the Sun, calling the Sun a 'news paper' boders on trade descriptions. Shane Richie as Captain Scarlet, now that does make me shudder...... __________________ Yup here at last!!! |
