BBC4 followed their Gerry Anderson evening with an Irwin Allen Night which had episodes of Lost In Space, The Time Tunnel and Land Of The Giants shown along with the Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea feature film.  The highlight was the documentary The Fantasy Worlds Of Irwin Allen from 1995.  It was a great documentary and I had quite a lump in my throat when the programme delt with his sad death at 75.  June Lockhart, Billy Mummy, Jonathan Harris and Bob May (as himself and the robot) were very funny and gave the documentary a fun feel to it.  American fans are probably very familiar with this documentary but I had never had a chance to see it and even though it is 12 years old it is still a fine tribute to a wonderful man.  A good evening for U.K. fans.

Dunc, glad you enjoyed it. It's a really well done program.
The producer is Kevin Burns, a really talented documentary maker.

Hello everyone, I'm looking for an autograph of Irwin Allen. I worked on a number of his films, Towering Inferno, Swarm etc.  I would like to have it for my collection. In fact if it was  from say Towering Inferno all the better.
thanks for looking
