Lurked here a few times whilst looking to find people's reactions to various toys. Decided to join up 'cuz I wanted to ask a question.

I was a Lost In Space fan when it first came out - young enough that I found it exciting. Ditto for Thunderbirds - still enjoy watching them, but somehow LIS lost its appeal as I got older. Not sure that's a good thing, y'know?

I collect space toys - mostly vintage tin robots, but have more than a dozen robot model B9's. Lots of ray guns - including the Master Replicas TOC Phaser & the Weta FMOM Wave Disruptor.

My dream toy is one o' them full size B9's (soon after winning the lottery...)

small garage ufo kit-ornament

hi,

i make some small ufo egg-saucers, that could be used even as ornaments, i can put a light in them with an led. the saucers are pretty accurate. i have pics. they come in clear domes and green domes, and have a black cone stand.
I'm not looking for sales on these, i just would like the postage to you, taken care of, if possible. if you want to make a donation, i would consider 5 dollars per ufo kit, or assembled saucer, a very good one.
mostly i just want to get them out there for the fans, i know when i was a kid i would have loved to have one.

Hi everyone. I'm NEW here and just looking around at the moment. I don't know if you are aware that Gerry Anderson is currently trying to make a NEW production of Thunderbirds, but the ITV company are standing in his way. Gerry has said that he will pay for the production and all the ITV company have to do is SHOW it which they are saying they won't do. I am trying to gather support for Gerry to show the ITV company that Gerry has still got a huge following - so please go to the link and sign the PETITION to show your support. Ralph Titterton producing Crispin Merrells first commercial CD

Ralph Titterton has had a very long association with Gerry Anderson, through Fanderson in many guises, and since the early 1990s with the estate of Barry Gray; restoring Grays music archive, co-producing a series of soundtrack CDs and more recently producing the very well received Barry Gray Centenary Concert at Londons Royal Festival Hall.

Now he is branching out to produce the first commercial CD for composer Crispin Merrell, who scored Gerry Andersons Space Precinct, Lavender Castle and more recently, New Captain Scarlet. Said Ralph, I covered the making of all aspects of Space Precinct over an 18 month period for Fanderson, but never met Crispin. It was only much later at one of their conventions that our paths crossed, and at that meeting I was so impressed with Crispin that I made a promise to myself that I would produce his first commercial CD.

A lot of time has passed since that meeting, and the proposed disc has gone through many different guises; some of which might still see the light of day, however the CD finally got the green light when Anthony Taylor of Fabgearusa.com - a Gerry Anderson-centric merchandise website - liked the demo disc so much he agreed to manufacture and sell the CD.

With the current working title of The Best of Crispin Merrell, it is intended that the disc will showcase Crispins superb talent, both as a composer and musician. All three Gerry Anderson series will be featured, along with a sample of his score from the 1995 film Death Machine, and other diverse pieces which include a beautiful piano solo, and a specially commissioned homage to the men who died in the trenches of World War 1. Crispin will be writing his own personal notes for each track, along with accompanying descriptive track notes similar to those written for the Gray titles.

The CD will be available from the FAB Gear website in the autumn, with ordering details, and links to samples on Crispins own website being made available once everything has been finalised. This information will be sent to all Anderson related websites and forums, as well as being published in the next FAB magazine.

As regards Barry Gray, Ralph is currently in discussion with a third party regarding a possible more unusual CD release, and is also having discussions with Fanderson and others about potential future titles. Possibilities are also being explored regarding the commercial viability of releasing the Barry Gray Concert on DVD; however at the time of going to press nothing has yet been decided.

I am from Leicestershire, East Midlands, UK. I I suffer from DiGeorge Syndrome (22q11.2 deletion)..

My problems are:

Leg Pains, Weak Immune System, Small Hole In Heart, Bent Spine (S Shape), Low Confedence, Small Jaw, Chinese Eye's, Smaller Ear's & Webbed Fingers etc.

General Special Needs & classed as being disabled, My life isn't very good but I get by.

I do Voluntary Hospital Radio Presenting for Castle Mead Radio here in Hinckley, Leicestershire, UK. I've been a Voluntary Hospital Radio Member & Presenter at the station for nearly 5 years & loving every minute of being there, I hold down a live on air two hour radio show every Tuesday Afternoon from 12pm till 2pm but we only Broadcast to Elderly Patients, Hospital's Member's of staff & to hundred's of people coming & going via our local Outpatients Department here in Hinckley.

We can choose what ever music we like to play for our live shows, as long as there's no rap, swearing etc in the song's.

I prefer to play more 1950's, 60's, 70's, 80's song's & I include TV Themes or pieces which have been included different Film or TV shows.

The new Star Trek movie is very good & Tony A whent down to London to the Premire first time he's ever been invited to something like that.

I love to join in local Carnival's each year to, me & my mum do Hinckley & Nuneaton's Carnival's & sometimes we do Weymouth's down in Dorset to try & raise a bit of money for Max Appeal.

Max Appeal, West Midlands & help out Babies, Children & Young Adults who suffer from DiGeorge Syndrome all over the UK & there's some worldwide, & the meaning of DiGeorge Syndrome is: It's all to do with cells and genetics. I have got half a cell missing, it's other term is 22 Q 11.2 Deletion. I was diagnosed with this when I was 13 - 14 years of age, there's no cure for this Syndrome. I have got to live with it for the rest of my life, I try and lead a normal life. I have a charity which is close to my heart, Max Appeal there based in Stourbridge in West Midlands, Now Max Appeal is to do with Di George Syndrome, founder member's of the charity are Julie Wootton and Paul Wootton.

I'm a new member on this FAB Gear Forum. It's a very good website, I have been into Gerry Anderson TV Progs for a long time. Blame my dad for it, I'm nearly 25 years.

I love all of Gerry's series, I've got them on old Channel 5 video plus the newer DVD's.

I'm a fan of Barry Gray's music & Derek Wadsworth's oh don't forget Crispin Merrell's composing scores I wish Space Precinct & New Captain Scarlet would come out on TV Soundtrack.

I hope I will be made welcome on here

Great news for Lost In Space fans! At Wonderfest in Louisville, Moebius has officially announced a brand new 18" Jupiter 2, with a highly detailed flight deck and landing gear wells! This kit may arrive in time for the holidays this year, too!
Judging by his earlier kits, this new kit promises to be builder friendly and a sweet build-up! I can hardly wait!!!

Hi!! I'm knew to this board, having just found it thru the Fabgear site. I enjoy customizing 1:6 action figures and have made customized Thunderbirds, UFO, Captain Scarlet and Space Precinct figures from the Anderson worlds. I am looking for loose/inexpensive 12" figures from Captain Scarlet (Vivid's non-talking versions) and of Lt. Brogan from Space Precinct. I am mostly in nnned of their uniforms and gear so that I can expand the Spectrum personell and the force of Demeter.

Sixteen 12 Eagle Transporter (09 Version)

Rob....just received my bird 10 minutes ago (pristine condition)...and boy does it look way better "live"!!!
Yes, the access corridors are FINALLY white (just like the studio models) and the weathering has considerably improved...a detail difficult to spot on photos.
This is the best 12" Eagle die-cast ever produced, well worth getting IMHO.
